not really impossible just fairly difficult, because the M79'rs just kept launching emselves over th top

I almost feel like remaking that map. I can think of two great changes (a differently located Alpha spawn, and a deadly poly to stop those moronic M79-jumpers) that would alter gameplay drastically.

Who made it?

I liked it at first but I dont really like the whole concept of bringing the flag to the base instead of taking it.

Inf_invasion sucked majorly. I'm glad they nerfed it.

Somebody ought to do it right.

Nah, they did. That was the problem; it was removed because it was virtually impossible for Bravo to win, supposedly.

It's a pretty nice concept at the time - take the enemy flag, go to enemy base and cap the flag.  But the problem, I think, was the gameplay.  Bravo could easily drive the Alphas out of the base, especially with an m79 or barrett.  I mean, look at the layout:

The bottom tunnel (the one Alphas use) is linear in that it's difficult to get through without having Bravos shoot at you.

Other problems could be nade-spamming, m79-boosting (which Ninja has pointed out), and spraying.  But that's just what I think.
