WTF Backflip?

Has this happened to any1 else, or is it just my soldat. Sometimes (about 1 out of 20 times)

When i do a backflip, my little dude's legs are stuck in the position of a crouch. The weird thing is, I can't shoot, if i'm in the middle of reloading it completely freezes, and my guy only moves in the direction opposite that i'm facing.

It's quite humorous at first, but then u realize that you have to die because there's no way to fix it. I can still use jet boots, but other than that i get screwed.

This only happens when I play soldat on my thumb drive, might be the cause of the problem.

It's a well-known glitch.

You can just press the lie down button and get back up to fix it instead of killing yourself.

Some people know how to initiate the glitch when they want and can use it to their advantage.

It's an extremely well-known fun glitch, known as the "Crouch Bug".

This happens when your Soldat rolls or backflips at a certain timing (or always happening with buggy animations due to certain modded weapon stats). If you roll forward, you move forward in this state. If you were rolling backwards or backflipping, you'll move in the opposite direction.

You can get out of this state by simply proning (the action that makes you lay down horizontally), or pressing 'X'.

You can fix it press 'X' then again 'X'...
Oo i love this Bug and it's sooooooo easy to get :)

This bug is awesome known as the "Crouch Bug". It can allow you to maneovour faster through the map but! If you get caught bug abusing, well there can be consequences!

Yeahh I got taught how to initiate it.  Though you shouldn't purposely do it as it could give speed advantages... which can be unfair.  Half of it is luck anyway..

If someone want to see a bot who has the crouch bug say it ill post weapons.ini with a weapon which makes crouchbug if u do a flip...
...But if u use a modifed Weapon to make a crouch bug you will not able to change guns :D

Does this bug really let you move faster? I always thought it is the same running speed only you look like you are crouching but everyone else sees you as running...ive never seen anyone else encounter this bug visually on my screen.

It's a clientside bug, so naturally you don't see them doing the crouchbug on your screen or on theirs most of the time.


and I for one, do not want this crouch bug removed. It just all adds up to Soldat's hilarity.

Soldat without this Bug or some others will make no Fun because I love buging, it's fun for me :D throwing nades through Walls... As I already said it will be no Fun without some Bugs...
