WinAPI Failure #4

Hello,

Every time I enter a server today, I get a message saying "Battleye violation: WinAPI Failure: #4"

Searching the forum for this problem produces more questions than answers. Thank you.

What is your operating system and do you use any anti-virus software?

I'm on Windows 98 and my anti-virus is Norton.

Is it normal that someone who keeps rejoining after he's unbanned gets kicked with this reason: (DoS Exploit)

This happened to someone who started to have this problem today. (might be you)

Ok, there seems to be a problem with pre-win2k systems.
