I'm getting the standard error message for when a program stops responding, except the program is ``.exe. Everytime I hit close the program, or any buttons, another window pops up. Anyone know anything? I've googled it, but it comes up empty, currently there are 6 "Microsoft Error Windows" as I type this. Anyone?

you should just use linux that way you won't get viruses

Do ctrl-alt-delete and go to processes and look for anything unusual.
Boot into safe-mode. Does it still happen? Try doing a virus scan.

Thinkto, does this happen when you're using a particular program or just out of nowhere?  It sounds very suspicious.

It tends to happen only if my computer is shutting down apps that are cpu intensive, for a few minutes the computer stops responding, after that the ``.exe error pops up, and everything else is back to normal.
