Just as a suggestion, i noticed while making my pokenade mod that the grenade and m79 explosions are the same, and that you cannot change the colour or mod the frag grenade trails or cluster grenades in their second stage.

As an idea i'd like:

m79 and grenade explosions to be seperated

Frag Grenade trails and cluster nades in their second stage to be modable

Would be nice if explosion was unique for each type like law, nade, m79, cluster sharpnels and flamearrow.

I doubt any new suggestions would make it in :), as soldat 1.5 will be out in a close future. and I'm doubt full any newer versions will be made.

-Major-, if that was the case that 1.5 is the final version of soldat, they would be trying to implement every single beneficial addition, not decline them.

[you can't mod] cluster grenades in their second stage.

If by "second stage" you mean "after breaking into small explosive pieces", then it is possible - mod cluster.bmp in weapons-gfx.
