So yeah, alot of my classmates are beginning to say "lolz" and "epic fail" in real life and I'm beginning to be bothered by it.

What about you guys?

No I don't. I don't even like to use it ingame. The bloke I'm living with, hardcore WoW gamer, he's constantly saying "lol" and "omg". I just wanna strangle him everytime.

It's normal to hear a few internet slangs occasionally around my place. "LOL" is almost the only one that is being used. But generally, we don't really use them.

Pretty much only in irony or with a select group of friends. It doesn't enter my normal conversation, though.

I guess, I do sometimes a bit..But I don't like saying "Lol" in real life, because I feel like a noob then. :-/

This always makes me mad, whenever I talk, I usually am tempted to say and pronounce LOL as if it were a word. lawl.

Even worse, in English when I'm writing a paper, I sometimes almost write stuff like btw, tbh, itt, idk, idgaff, stfu,

, etc.

I use it very occasionally and it is mostly if I am talking about a game that has a long name or something in it has a long name. RoB (ring of the basilious) QoP (Queen of Pain) HK (HK MP5) etc. I never use like lol and stuff, you sound retarded. Like, actually retarded.

Notice I said "almost"? I've never actually let any chatspeak leek onto anything important and I only get the urge every now and then and it isn't hard to suppress it.
