I somehow think that you CAN'T really figure out which clan was the best as previous versions had different balances, and different clans had different activity periods, so it would be hard to define each clan's PRIME and compare it to another clan's with at different times. For that you'd have to make them ALL play against each other on all versions those clans sued to play, and then see the winner. Which would take at least a year for it to be organized and accurate. All we can do is guess\speculate.

Menda, Maka, Amigo, Ziem, Raektis, Crono, Highspeeday, Zingo, RAB, Qazwertred, Napi, Towel, and some more. I doubt any of them play these days really, and the only ones I have been in contact with for last half a year has been Qaz. Not that I was really involved with the clan, just used to hang around afterwards.

well, the old era top clans were notorious to incorporate the very best out of the considerably smaller soldat populace, with the 'B-tier' fellows carving their own way up throughout the versions. it's how it went, goes and always will be (:

way to decide is by comparing the domination level of other clans, kind of, if one clan in the past could beat other top clans in 2v3 they are the best clan, because no other clan will ever be able to do that.
