i've got a weird feeling that even if he'll do something extreme like encouraging mass immigration from allover africa into the US, f**k up the social ballance, crash the US economy or anything catastrophic as that, people are still going to forgive him with the excuse of "THIS IS ALOT BETTER THAN WHAT BUSH WAS DOING! i just read that he wants to halt US nuclear manufacturing program, and he plans to achieve a status where the world will get rid of it's nuclear arsenal.

is this f*cking necessary? does anyone really believe that if he halts the nuclear programs, so will russia and the chinese?

so far he wants to get rid of guantanamo bay, withdraw forces stationed allover the world, reduce the security budget, halt the nuclear program, get rid of the plan to put anti-ICBM systems in europe and some other minor things.

Anyone else think he will be fairly exactly like Clinton. A bunch of his cabinate was in Bill's cabinate or close, heck even Hillary is in it. By that I mean mostly playing to the middle occasionally doing something very left and overall being pretty boring. Clinton didn't really screw over the economy and neither will he. Its not that I agree with Clinton on just about anything, but its not like the president even has the power to do anything that spectacular. If the economy (or any other aspect of life) crashes, it will be mostly the work of the people and some of the work of the government. There is no "crash the economy" button.

The above can be about anything, economy was just easiest to talk about.
