what means "macro-like programs" ? Gimme a exemple of non-hack program.
Some keyboards have macro keys which you can press, and they perform a predefined function, like pressing a set of keys (e.g. G15). To do this, they need a process running on the computer to press the keys. BE probably picks up on this as a hack.

One more question about macro programs.
BE identifies a gamehack #20 only when the key sequence is sent to the Soldat process or it monitors everything? Suppose I have a global hotkey that makes Winamp skip to the next song.. if I press it while I'm playing Soldat will I get a gamehack #20?

Thanks again.

That's not really a macro. I believe it uses a system standard code that Microsoft has an API for that media programs can listen for.

Yes.. but my question is if BE monitors calls to these API functions or not.
If it does.. then a simple hotkey to send a command to a media program would trigger a gamehack #20 message.

What you describe is no macro. All it does is detect input (your hotkey) and execute a function. No fake input generated at all.

Btw, "GameHack #20" is now "Injected Input #X".
