no it isn't, its an "upgrade" to IE. You could smear shit all over IE and it would be an improvement.

Whether this is true or not, for all we know Avant is imitating no more than the interface of IE. There's nothing wrong with basing a browser on what people are already familiar with. I'd never use such a thing myself, but still.

Firefox all the way...screw all the other browsers...FIREFOX eats all other web browsers. See, Mozilla Firefox is the best and I'll state some reasons why.

1. Mozilla Firefox is crossed between Godzilla and a fox, thus making it so powerful it eats away all other web browsers.
2. It has fire so it can destroy and kill all the other web browsers which makes it far the most superior.
3. It's fox like so it moves and displays its pages and defends itself very fast and effective against other web browsers, making itself one of the fastest agility browsers.
4. Mozilla Firefox, has incredible power, when versing other browsers it just destroys them into pieces with its vicious looks, ferociousness and fear antics.

See, here are some reasons why Mozilla Firefox IS the ONE and ONLY, BEST internet web browser this world has ever seen before.

No, you don't understand. It takes IE's core engine and puts its interface over IE's. It's like a new "skin" with extra features.

Avant? That is like taking a broken down car, remodeling the frame, and selling it.
Your just selling a good looking piece of crap.

Yeah, except in this case instead of selling it they're just giving it away.

I tried Opera a long while ago, it probably changed much sense when I tried it, but I remember when I tried it a while ago, I preferred Firefox, but probably more because I was used to it. I bet if I was using Opera for a while and tried out Firefox, I would prefer Opera.

You can get mouse gestures as an addon for Firefox, totally customizable. I use it all the time.

yeah, I use All-in-One gestures for Firefox.  I have been using it for a long time, before I even knew Opera had mouse gestures.

One of the many things Opera did first.

Yeah, I know they did it first... I just found out about the add-on for Firefox before I knew Opera had gestures, exactly what I said.

Avant is garbage, it has all of the same brokenness and problems as IE.  The biggest problem with IE is its standards compliance, so Avant inherits all of that.

'soon as chrome for lux comes out I'll be utilizing it probably, if only to see what it's like.

Until then I'm still using mosaic. A browser is only good if it's been around for 16+ years.
