Opera VS Firefox.

I prefere Opera, mainly because of its customizability, but also because it has all the features I'll ever need "out of the box". I like the way it renders webpages better than FF. (I wont even mention IE)

Firefox is an awesome browser but IMO Opera is superior.

What do you mean by this? Standards support, or things like button, check box, radio button, scroll bar, etc. appearance?

When loading a page Opera renders whatever its got, like text without formatting and images, then when formatting is downloaded or images it re-draws the page to fit those in. From my experience firefox does this to some extent but not as much as Opera does.. I guess its not very relevant these days when internet has gotten so fast, but I loved it when internet was slow and still do when I load slow pages or my mate is sucking the juice out of the routers.

You're just a face in the crowd accepting whatever the industry decides is best for you! Only those who use Arch Linux and manually configure everything are true computer users.

Considering few of the programs I use on a day to day basis look like they did when I first installed them I'd have to disagree.

If me preferring to customize a bundled install with pretty much all I need, rather than installing every component one by one, makes me a non true computer user. Then I'm fine with that AFAIK Opera is more customizable than firefox anyway, but for all I know you have plugins for whats lacking

I'm not being serious. Though I do love configuring my system and its programs. I also write beautifully obfuscated and uncommented code, making me a True Programmer.
