DirectX couldn't initialize - Help

Right, After running soldat for 3 years smoothly. This error came up without any reason at all:



Now, no matter how much i reinstall the game, this error comes out..

My DirectX is updated to the last version for Windows XP, Which is 9.0c. Also, I have the latest updated driver by nvidia for my GeForce 6200 card.

I've read the faq on the basic fix for this and even searched the entire board. But, It never worked for me. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Apparently, Beta 1.5c works perfectly. But, It sucks that no one still officially plays it.

I did reinstalled it again, It doesn't work at all. It's strange that the beta version works properly though.

when you are reinstalling your drivers dont forget that you need to delete the current ones
and check if the drivers even support your graphics card (they leave out some cards if they get old)

This is a problem that occurs when Soldat isn't actually exited out from. Enter the task manager and end Soldat.exe, which is most likely running.

Also, ensure you restart your computer if you still experience it.

I already did everything, reinstall drivers etc. nothing works 

It's strange 1.5.0c beta works fine and dandy while this official version (1.4.2 i think) just killed itself after years of running it smoothly

Check for any other program that runs on DirectX, and see if it is running.

also try running dxdiag, should show you if its in your directx/drivers installation
