A tad faster reload for LAW?

Hi all!

During soldat I've used the LAW sometimes and its a cool secondary.
However, its long reload almost always forces me to discard the damn launcher after firing since I'd be better off grabbing another gun on the run.

I'm asking for a tiny boost for the reload on LAW so it'd be actually more worth keeping the gun after firing the first shot. Just a little.

hmm im not sure that is a good idea...
he reload is balanced in my view.

there should be an another way to "more worth keeping the gun after firing"

I agree to adding a faster reload for the LAW, and a shorter startup time. Although you won't really have the time to reload a LAW, it'd be nice if it takes less long to reload.

In fact, those should be implemented for 1.5.

How about make it 1/10 of a second faster? That is just enough to make it go that extra bit but its not too much if you know what I mean.

The LAW's reload should be faster by 60 ticks, which is 1 second. That means from 480 ticks down to 420 ticks, according to the 1.5 balance.

Its reload was already lowered from 1.3.1 to 1.4, if I'm not mistaken. It's still quite long, however, because in any regular match there is (or should be) enough action that you can't (or shouldn't be allowed to) just sit still for more than 4 seconds.

Agreed; it needs a much lower reload and slightly less startup. Its not that great currently; being forced to the ground is bad enough.

I agree. The reload takes way too long. It's worse than Barrett.

How much do you think the reload boost in 1.5 increase STM?

Last 1.5 wm had 1 second reload reduction (-60 ticks).

I hope that law will be a bit more useful when it's bug (random startup, due to polybugs) will be fixed.

According to the latest 1.5 experimental balance, it is -30 ticks = 450. But somehow, I also get info that it's probably -60 ticks = 420...?

I personally think the reload could be like, 420, the fastest reload I'd accept would be about 300. Not any faster.

A few ticks is actually quite a difference in a firefight - compare the Aug and MP5 - now that's actually quite a difference. Now consider a few seconds. That's a big difference even if not in a firefight. It's like comparing the reload of a Socom to the reload of a Barrett. After you've reloaded the Socom, you'd probably be injured. If you were reloading the Barrett, you would have probably died before you've even reloaded half the clip, and still not forgetting you have to wait for 240 ticks upon reload before you can fire.
