Awesome Mod....or retarded bug?

So I opened soldat, and for some reason, this happened...

Yeah, really. Looks pretty beasty. A mod themed around that, but with better weapons would be awesome!

What about checking the interface and gostek folders? If all the files are blank white then it's a mod, and if they're not it's a bug.

It's not a mod(when I said Awesome Mod, I was being sarcastic, even if it was cool looking). When I took that screenshot, it was just that. But when I joined a different server, it flickered between that "bug" and the default mod every couple seconds. After I restarted soldat and posted it on SF, it worked fine...


Actually, the reason this possibly happened was because I was trying to fix soldat since I have had TREMENDOUS problems with it for about 7-8 months. I've had a stable 2000 ping no matter what. With the help of Bendarr, we(aka just him) found out that I installed the wrong drivers(downloaded the vista 64-bit rather than 32-bit).

Now, soldat is spike free, but my FPS still is not going over 39. Any suggestions?

well... seems a bit weird, as somethings actually drawn... but double check you've placed the mods graphics in the right folder.

what surprises me is that the soldiers still got some kinda of shape, but it may be because they are built and colored in a diffrent way than recoloring of the pictures. possebly they are drawn out of the engine, therefore no greater graphical malfunction.

if the soldier wasn't some what correct, I could say with 95% confidence that it's because your soldat can't find the picture files.
try reinstall it (save your profile folder and other folders you want to keep on another place, and then copy them back) and remove the whole Soldat folder. you may have problem removing "bgothl.ttf" but it'll be removeable after restarting your computer, try this and come back with result.
