What weapon would be best in war?

This is just a random question so sorry if I waste your time.

I want to which weapon to choose while your at war on soldat?
Weapons
[DE] Desert Eagles?
[MP5] MP5?
[AK74] AK-47?
[AUG] Steyr AUG?
[Spas] Spas 12?
[Ruger] Ruger?
[M79] M79?
[Barret] Sniper?
[Minimi]  FN Minimi?
[Minigun] Minigun?

Secondary Weapons
[socom] Socom (Pistol)
[knife] Combat Knife
[saw] Chainsaw
[law] M72 LAW

Steyr AUG with chainsaw secondary (unless seconds aren't allowed).

It's an assault rifle. Best all around.

Minigun will mow down hundreds of men until someone with a barret shoots him. Hmm, even real war is somewhat balanced. I say minigun overall. With a USSOCCOM or LAW.

If you want to win: Aug + Nades + Def you can't go wrong.


If you prefer to have a bit of fun I'd recommend a semi, I only use Deagles and I generally do well against every gun.

If this is for real, then Minigun is definitely the choice. It'll take down hundreds of people in no time.

As secondary, I'll choose LAW to take down the Heavy Armoured vehichles I guess.

Minimi + SOCOM or LAW.

Or Barrett, or minigun. Depends on the situation.

Depends on your play style AND the map AND your opponent

Generally, the best weapons in a war are:
Autos: Steyr Aug/AK-74
Semis: Ruger
1-hits: M79
Secs: Knife/LAW

And everyone uses Grenades, far more than even the Aug.

Real War

Criteria -

Safety - Barrett with a pistol to back you up, camp and shoot.  Can also stop tanks.
Assault - Aug with pistol, I'd say.
Frag count - Sitting in the middle of the battlefield with a minigun set up.
Hero - Chainsaw... with a M79 to DERKADERKAMOHAMMEDJIHAD if necessary

I would prefer minimi, saw crazy ownage with it. And a pistol to finish the target if you run out of bullets, as you know it has a long reload time.

In close range the AK - 47 would be best.
In very close battle buildings for example the MP5 would be the most effective.
And of course the sniper rifle is the solution for far targets and staying undetected.
antitank/vehicles M72 LAW launcher is nice choice,as we all know there is no heavy war machines in soldat so the law is kinda useless anyway it is always nice to see you getting your head touchdown because of the law XD.

HK-MP5, the best weapon. If close-range to opponents which you normally are in wars, it will instantly be an advantage to overpower your opponent. However, it depends on the skill of the player with the versatile weapon to use it. You could use any weapon in a war although its the skill that counts.

Despite using HK-MP5 it will also have its weaknesses of long range shooting. Try to stay close to your opponents and keep a safe distance when required. This will enable you to use your gun at most effective.

I dont want to sound like an asshole, but this question sounds kinda... naive? Provided you are talking about a REAL war, if not, then "war on soldat" is a very confusing expression, at least for me.

DE or steyr. if I want to be sure to win, ruger. And always knife as secondary.
