What do you mean by "war on soldat" ...
HK-MP5, the best weapon. If close-range to opponents which you normally are in wars, it will instantly be an advantage to overpower your opponent. However, it depends on the skill of the player with the versatile weapon to use it. You could use any weapon in a war although its the skill that counts.Despite using HK-MP5 it will also have its weaknesses of long range shooting. Try to stay close to your opponents and keep a safe distance when required. This will enable you to use your gun at most effective.
Last year, I dreamt I was pissing at a restroom, but I missed the urinal and my penis exploded.

and dont forget that in rl the minigun is static, so you cant move it, what makes you an excellent sitting duck
i would go for barret/socom, and then after killing an enemy taking his primaryi would hope his primary would be aug
Assuming this thread is about which weapon would be the most appropiate for fighting an actual war[..]
Real WarCriteria -Safety - Barrett with a pistol to back you up, camp and shoot. Can also stop tanks.Assault - Aug with pistol, I'd say.Frag count - Sitting in the middle of the battlefield with a minigun set up.Hero - Chainsaw... with a M79 to DERKADERKAMOHAMMEDJIHAD if necessary
I would choose a cute dress and good make up + a teddy bear.
Assuming this thread is about which weapon would be the most appropiate for fighting an actual war, I'd say you guys are all pissing in the wind. You can't just say "war" and choose this or that weapon to fight it. A warzone has to be broken into many different pieces, and each scene has to be considered to optimize your selections. Like is it urban, is it continental, is it in enclosed spaces, will we be fighting a larger force, how advanced will they be and will they have airsupport? If you're in, say, an urban area, chances are you'll have more luck with an auto or semi auto than with a barrett, and if you're gonna cleansweep a building, a smaller firearm like the HK MP5 would pre preferable over the minimi. However, if I was presented with a situation in which I was sure to encounter enemy forces of unknown strength, and I had no knowledge of the environment or the scale of it, I would probably have to go for the Steyer AUG and a knife. The Steyer is an all round weapon, with decent firing speed, yet maintains an awesome accuracy, meaning it can well be used for hunting as well as fighting. And the knife is just practical.
Straight up Barrett/Socom.
