There was some Kafka fellow who wrote a book about turning into a cockroach, IIRC.  Dunno if there's any correlation.

His work was mainly about man getting sucked up and crushed to atoms by the overly bureocratic system's endless maze-mill. The transformation was like that too, to have a take on the meaninglessness of a life lived in this modern, fulfilled anti-utopia.

And I hate too many things to list.

First of all, how people freak from eye-contact. Not to mention smiling. When did having fun get outlawed?

1. The fact that most physics books and professors use i-hat, j-hat, and k-hat to express unit vectors instead of x-hat, y-hat, and z-hat. That would be too simple for the complex world of physics, I suppose. -_-
2. People who respond with "lol" or something similar to everything you say.

3. That everyone who plays Soldat and their mother now uses the word "eat" in terms of hits not registering.
4. People who tell you to stop whining after they have just finished doing so.

Oh god I fail these two. Part of my new years resolution was to stop saying lol after everything. So far I haven't had much success.

2. playing on vent and hearing my teammates(or the other team) point out EVERY bug/glitch/non-reg complaint known to man.
3. The people who take this game way too seriously, including any clanmate I ever had

I'm not even sure what you're talking about, meaning that I can't possibly take offense to it. ;P

What? Oh, yeah, I do that all the time. I think it's just because I feel so hurried to respond immediately that whatever the other person said hasn't fully registered yet. By instinct, I say "what?" Then in a second or two I interpret the other person's message and can actually reply to it.

@Farah: That's so true. Mathematics is total win. The downside is that being a mathematician is too broad of a career for me.
