Forget the 'Link-Dump'.
I think it's a stupid idea to put links all in one post...

However, if there was a whole thread board dedicated to just that then I'd post there.

It's not against 'Da Rules' anyway.
[or at least I don't think it is]

Well I thought it was very good. Didn't look to fake at all.

The props were amazing and the acting was okay.

Special effects were also good enough to make the mood.

Screw the Link Dump; this video deserves its own topic imo.

Okay, I have to admit I was impressed at how close the video resembled the game. The sounds were nearly identical and the bad guys looked exactly the same.

It was posted all over every Half life forum already. It's a nice little video though.

They used the game for the sound effects.

It was indeed awesome I can't wait for the next bit.

Go burn Mangled. They deserve a HUGE credit for making a game movie that is amazing.

Besides, I never played HL before, and it still looks amazing.

What does that represent?
The first weapon the player at the beginning of the game is given, a crowbar.

Only thing I don't like about the video is the lack of the gravity gun! That thing is insanely fun on levels like Ravenholm when you use it to pick up gas barrel drums and shoot them to zombies and watch them explode and burn to death, shrieking.

@jrgp: But Gordon has teh grav gun. You can either have the grav gun in the story or keep a coherent plot, I'm in favor of the latter by far

I hate despite being able to carry a arsenal of weapons, you can't carry more then 60 rounds of AR2 ammo and 30 shotgun shells. Also it takes 20 shots from a pistol to take a zombine down, 5 shots from a shotgun, and 2 magnums to the headcrab to take down a zombine in hard mode.
