Dummy fights back!

I was just messing around in single player practicing my knife throws, and Dummy knifed me back!

Yes, bots automatically punch back if you punch em (even flaggers)

Is the dummy holding a knife?

Secondly, did you punch the Dummy up close?

If yes to both, that would be the reason why you got knifed.

This is because the Dummy bot punches you back when you punch him.

If Dummy wasn't holding a knife, then you must have modded your fist's bulletstyle to knife and changed the damage.

Not at all, dummys can pick up weapons if they lay down on the floor. He probably killed him with the knife(throw) and dummy spawned at the same spot, then he wanted to fist him and got pwnt :)

i tried with 31 dummies on a map shich i made (only 1 spawn)
the knife fell on the ground, but the dummie didnt picked it up, and they were standing in it
when i got there my soldat picked up the knife, even if he was further than the dummie

See, I play very often on zombies mods, if there are a lot of them (31) they dont attack and dont pick up weapons, dno why

Anyway
you should try again with ONE Dummy!
