The games fukken kick ass. Still to this day I occasionally play them. The shows, eh, I watched those back in 5th grade. My favorite pokemon is magneton.

I agree with you, there are a lot of good animes. Naruto is good, Dragonball was kinda good at some point in it's time, too.

I don't understand why people like Naruto...didn't get into it......When you guys were kids, did anyone watch digimon?

I could recommend some good titles if you like.  I hate bad anime, because there is a lot of it.  But there are some amazing full length motion pictures and short, one season series which you may find interesting.

Meh, people should only watch the Japanese Narutos, from what I've seen they have blood and not so cheesy voices.  Yeah, I watched Digimon, heh.  Lots of these shows used to be awesome, then they ruin them.

And then Yu-Gi-Oh overwhelmed me.  Watched the show every day 'Til I realized it was just plain silly (save the world by playing cards). 

This is what makes the show great to me. It's so overly melodramatic. The fate of the world and all the souls of my friends rests on this draw! I love the card duels, but I can't still all the other non-card related stuff (the Noah arc especially for interrupting the climax of the Egyptian god battles with some stupid VR filler story). I actually bought some cards and got a few friends to buy some to play around a bit, but it's such a poorly balanced game that we never went back to it. Still a fun show to watch, and battles are faster moving than typical anime drawn out affairs.

I still have Pokeon: Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal
for gameboy color.

In like 10 years I will sell them.

I like only the first series of pokemon. I also only like the first 2 sets of pokemon games. (red yellow blue = set1, silver gold crystal = set2)

I also like Trigun, Ghost in shell, Gunslinger girls and Orphan.

I think like everyone else, I started getting irritated by the complete repetiveness of the shows. Team rocket comes, pikachu is stolen, ash does something, pikachu is saved and its a happy ending. It was getting annoying so I stopped watching it just cuz it pissed me off, I mean pikachu die? or teamrocket? god lol.

I used to play the original pokemon yellow, but I gave my gameboy and all my games to my niece. Also, whyd they kick Misty out? Like wdf.

Pokemon is celebrating its tenth anniversary. I love Pokemon, but I haven't picked up any of the latest games but I have been watching the series... Misty is still the best.

The games get pretty damn intense at times.
Alotta kids play it just for the face value of the pokemon, but the real die hards will EV train their pokemon and breed until they get the best personalities and moves on their pokemon.
EV training pokemon takes fooooooooooreeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvver.
