Meh, people should only watch the Japanese Narutos, from what I've seen they have blood and not so cheesy voices.

Never watch American dubbed anime.  They edit the content, change the dialouge, and ruin the original intent of the creators/show.

Me and a friend played pokemon in class for half the year and traded through our link cables. Wraithlike might have done it too, about half the class did it, the teacher was a joke.

Speaking of which, where did wraith go...

I heard 5 characters died in the original Japanese version of Sonic X.

HAHA this actually made me laugh for some reason. A rather interesting factoid.

I was a hardcore pokemon fan back in the day... That was when I was like 6 years ago, when I was 10.

I still enjoy the Japanese culture and some of the reading material, but the shows are all the same, screamy, and not to mention repetetive. The only anime exception is Excel Saga, which in my opinion, is FREEEEEEKKKKKIIIINNNNNNN Hilarious! It's soooo random and episode 26 is far beyond comprehension... Lots of blood, and suggestive (in a humourous way)...

So the moral of the story is: G-unit sucks ahaah

You see, this is what I hate..people talking about the whole genre and blowing things out of proportion.

Many are the same, but it takes time to find the good ones.

You're right. I am too quick to judge.
But the majority of the Anime shows I get here are really, really annoying. There are probably great animes I havn't seen yet, so thanks for pointing that out.

On the other hand though: I stick to my guns when I say the G-unit suck (and all other rap) because I am very exposed to every single sub-genre of rap and I despise it. It is the most popular music where I live (with EMO as a close second :(). A sad state of affairs indeed.
(:o is there and Rock vs. Rap Poll Around? I want to post there :))

So kids, listen to good ol' Rock n' Roll n' Blues :D

Pokemon defined a time in my life. It still holds a place in my heart.

There is some good anime out there. I own seasons 1 & 2 of Ghost In A Shell. I would of liked ROD if the voice actors where better.

I agree with you, there are a lot of good animes. Naruto is good, Dragonball was kinda good at some point in it's time, too.

I don't understand why people like Naruto...didn't get into it......When you guys were kids, did anyone watch digimon?

Yup! I only watch Japanese Naruto. I watched one English episode and it was really really really bad in comparison.

I just finished watching an anime called Samurai 7.  Pretty interesting; it's only 26 episodes long.

In the Japanese version of Sailor Moon, two of the characters were lesbian and in love, but in the Western version, they changed the two sailor-lovers into cousins which led to some rather strange and incest moments.

They also insisted on saying "U-ren-ess." It's "Ur-ane-us!" :)

Wrong. Apparently it was to "ruanchy" for Western release so they butchered it.
Btw a bunch of evil villians in Saloir Moon were crucified when they failed. there's a whole host of changes, but those were the ones that stuck in my mind.

Pokemon was good, untill I realized how corny and cheesy it was. I can eat nachos off of it.

Too many "You can do it!", "Believe in yourself!", "All you have to do is try!" type of motivational speeches. And god, couldnt they get better voice actors? Theyre probably getting paid with fairy dust and dreams.
