Question: What's a zombie?

Answer: Me, when I get 2 hours of sleep and 20 hours straight of school work. After that, I'm ready to feast on the flesh of the undead... my physics teacher being the first one.  ;)

Quoting something from page 1, but:

The Zombie Survival Guide has more in it than intricate zombie survival... The book revolves around the idea being: "What would/should you do in the situation of a large-scale collapse of the daily network (routines) of life;" (ex. what would you do if grocery stores ceased to provide food to the masses).  If this were the case, obviously disregard the information on the Zombie anatomy in Max Brooks' guide, as you'd be dealing with real life rather than science fiction.

Um yea, that was a little rabbit trail of thought.  Don't believe zombies exist, but Max Brooks almost had me convinced :-X

I've seen Zombies portrayed as all different things, with many different characteristics, no-one can really say what they can or cannot do, what they do or do not eat etc.

"Living" does not equal "undead". Zombies eat the living, zombies do not eat the undead. Zombies are undead or infected.

Why isn't One Gram in this topic? Did he finally leave the community?

If there is one unifying aspect of zombies it is that they eat or at least bite living people. That is undisputed.
