i rekon when it bounces off polus it should burn yourself...like if you flame below you, it rebounds and flames yourself, that should still burn you lol..
Instead of making each particle 'bounce' off polys, make them 'stick' until the particle dies off. This way you can set an area on fire, inflicting damage on other person touching the poly. Perhaps then, when the fire particles motion becomes static, some better reg would occur ?
The problem with the Flamer now is its reg.
Thats why Im suggesting that the flame particles 'stick' to polys instead of bouncing off them. When you set fire to an area, it effectively becomes a temporary lava poly. Players will find themselves walled by fire, and will more likely be set on fire..
