Please o please can we have some Arcade Games on this forum. It gets very boring just posting...SCTFL have now got games, why can't we? We can try and beat our fellow members, friends and own each other the old addictive games. It shouldn't be that hard...and it makes the forum just that little bit more fun! F12, ftw ppl!

I find such arcade games useless and pointless. If you're really that bored, go to some sites with nice flash games.

No way. This defeats the purpose of the forum. Just go play on a flash game site, like www.miniclip.com, www.jrgp.org, www.neodelight.com, www.arcadetown.com, etc

Not a fan. But there's a small chance it might shakle the forum together a little more, even if contradictory the nature of the forum. I'm not saying one way or the other, but maybe we should consider looking into it.

I wasn't terribly keen on adding the arcade to the SCTFL forums initially, but now that it's here I absolutely love it. It's really fun to compete with other forum members for the high score on your favorite games, and it helps to increase forum activity. Sure it's possible to play the same games on other sites, but the fact that you're directly contending with your friends (or enemies) on the forum really makes it great.

I'd say it's worth a trial. Just add a couple or so games to see how it goes.

It's a quick competition! And don't call it useless. Ever since Bash Pit and Flame Zone was closed down, it was boring...

Woops, forgot to post after I agreed with xurich's explanation.

But ya, personally I do not really play such games. However, I don't mind it being added anyway, small features here and there, I admit that I may occasionally play in arcades, it's just that I don't really see much of a point other than high scores. I simply hope that the games being picked for the arcade are good. Perhaps stuff like City Jumper, Helicopter...

Not happening. There are thousands of places on the Internet where you can find these kinds of games, we really don't need any more clutter or stuff on the soldat forums.

No, it'll take the focus away from the forum part of the site and direct the majority of it to the games section. Soon enough, it'd get old and be a useless piece of clutter. As flies said, there are thousands, if not millions, of free online gaming sites. Just use one of them.
