Mine polygons
« on: February 26, 2009, 10:10:39 am »
We have bloody, bloody deadly, hurts, lava polygons, but why not mine?. I mean when we step on this we can be randomly blow up like granade effect. Lava only burns us, but such a poly can be really something.

Next to that it would be chaotic gameplay with this :( Imagine: You are a flagrunner and you get blowed up just because you step onto a polygon, you are angry, you throw your computer out of the window and you cant play soldat anymore ;D

Earnestly: It would be apocalypse!

Well, -Major- You were right, I should read stickey first.

This is exactly it. My bad...

Obviously, that would be an extremely bad map design.

It is possible, and nothing massive is required to complete it.

You could recreate this effect with scripting, I suspect.

Oh, mine polys.

It has been suggested before, as "exploding polys" - when you step on it you'd explode. It is a good idea, but...

The map format won't be changed, at least for now.
