[BattleEye] Corrupt Memory #16 and #21
« on: February 26, 2009, 10:16:33 pm »
I have tried re-installing soldat, removing the whole thing, deleting the BE folder in App Data, done all three at once, closing xfire, closing MSN, exiting any un-nessasary programs, EVERYTHING!

This only started to happen after the last BE update, I got it to work ONCE in game, and it was only on an INF server... I can only go on servers without battle eye and the amount of hackers are just stupid...

I get booted usually after 5-20 seconds, longest I have gone without a kick is like 45 seconds... I don't want to pay some guy $60 to get a program that disables Battle Eye for 6 months, because he's a noob hacker and I want my fking game play back...

I still have yet to find a way to get back in game and this has been going on for god knows how long... I just want to get back into Soldat and play again with my friends...

Is there any possible way to fix this?

I don't hack, that's the point... All I do is start up the game, and then try to join a server... And I get kicked...

I have even tried installing Soldat to various places and it doesn't work... This all began after the battle eye update, it's pissing me off... I just want to get back online, and play... I've been booted out of my clan for not playing often on the suggested servers...

This is crap... I used to get #21 when Soldat had Xfire in-game on, and I tried exiting xfire, then error #16 started up...

=Edit=

Blocked and deleted because it's a hack...

OK, just so you know, using a bypass is a form of cheating.

Nah, you don't say? Why do you think I deleted and blocked him... All I asked was is there a way to even turn it off so it can't GET an error, and he suggested that...

I want to play, and I can't even do so because of these stupid piece of crap errors...

Do you run Norton AntiVirus / Internet Security? Try to disable/uninstall it.

I run Avast Home 8.0 and it has never troubled me before. I'll give that a shot now I guess =/

Do you have any other security applications installed? Obviously something changed on your system the moment the problem started.

Try to uninstall them too, often disabling doesn't totally disable them.

I'm running a personal firewall known as Comodo, that might be the problem, I have it set to a custom level that only allows me to allow or deny connection to the internet, Battle Eye may be disabled, I'll turn it off to allow all connections so yeah.

Same thing. Error #16 upon entering the server, No connections are blocked via Comodo so it can't be it because I completely allowed all connections to access what ever they wanted to.

Anything else?

Sorry for the double and tripple posting:
Comodo:
BEClient_x86.dll is allowed connection through anything and isn't being blocked.
Avast:
BEClient_x86.dll is on the allowed list of suspicious Activity, denied scanning capabilities to deter any sort of virus detection of it.

Still nothing =.=

As I said, try to uninstall these programs one by one to see if the problems disappears (start with Avast).

Feemo, you probably have something else on your system that causes this. Maybe try to remember what changed on your system once the problem started?

No. Seriously, I wonder why people always think that updating BE cures such problems at all. The fact that he has this problem already shows that his BE is up-to-date.

Plus, if that solution fixes his problem, he would probably have a "Failed To Update" violation, not a "Corrupt Memory" violation. :P

I have no idea though... I don't have a clue what changed, I'll back up some stuff and try a system restore till before this problem began.

When i had that problem i didn't know what to do so i tryed this and it did cured my problem.
(but add reinstaling soldat 3 times to that ^^ )

Sorry, but as I said, it's technically not possible. There was another problem then.
