They're both some of the most easy pokemon to get in the game. Snorlax blocks your path twice and you fight it and gyrados you train from magickarp

I like how you HAVE to fight Snorlax to progress.

I was always a fan of Gengar+Alakazam. And Dragonite. For the semi-newer ones, Tyranataur is the way to go.
