All of the maps below are based on ideas and sketches by players who had map ideas that they wanted to realize and sent to me at #soldat.mapping I post them here in the hopes that they will give inspiration to others todo the same because us mappers can become quite blind to the new ideas that are out there.

Yeah, I was pretty damn tired(drunk, nono) when I sketched Snipe, and the In Sync went better than I sketched. gj

Baal both me and Biggles have worked on the others I made myself, also the maps has been through testing at #soldat.mapping and been changed accordingly.

I have to say that everyone should learn something from these maps. As I've said many times classic soldat maps don't have chance to get popular, these are examples what I've meant that got potential. Baal and especially InSync are new fresh ideas.

I made my own climb map :D...map making is easy but very repetetive...and also alot of trial and error which annoys me so much!

nice iniciative!
some maps seems to be rushed, with low scenery variance, but making maps from someone else's mind can be tough
good job :)

offtopic: snipe gave me meaning for an old map of mine, ctf_Randfall, that I will make it a throw map
