Colbert Nation on the move
« on: March 05, 2009, 08:05:44 pm »
That's right, NASA has recently made public the opportunity for the public to help them name their new space Node, and Stephen Colbert was on the train tracks waiting to be hit by the comedy train.

2 nights ago, on The Colbert Report, Stephen took it upon himself to have his members suggest the new Node be named 'Colbert' as a joke. But his fans were on board for it.

Stephen also pointed out that the Scientologists were on the same set of train tracks, voting "Xenu"(Scientology Overlord) to take the name.

To keep track of the results; http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/name_ISS/index.html

(Probably neither of them will be chosen, because NASA makes the final decision, but it's still fun.)

It's highly unlikely.
I'm sure NASA wouldn't have come up with the list of their suggestions if they actually wanted the public opinion. I just want to beat Xenu so Stephen can be the new Scientology Overlord.

Digg already decided that it should be battletoad.

Colbert was too late.

The funny thing about Battletoads is I've played Battletoads and it is actually fun. I didn't hear about the meme until years later. If he does win this I will laugh forever because Colbert is always doing this stuff and actually pulls it off.

Colbert must win, in order to prevail in the war between Colbert Nation and "Anonymous"

I voted Colbert.
Stephen deserves it.

Scientologists voted Xenu, and Anonymous also are voting for Xenu because they believe it is an insult to them(Scientology)
