"Once uppon a time in the old ancient history when the earth had it first days a blue and cold planet called Icet smashed down on the earth and created all water and ice. the day after a red and hot planet called Firet smashed down on the earth and created all fire and lava. Icet and Firet lived in peace together with each other until the day the human beings came to earth and cutted down the woods and burned it. They unleash energie wich melts the great ice areas in the most north and south of earth.... Now Icet and Firet got enough and they put together all their ragefull powers and unleashes it on earth to create... Firce! the most dangerous place found in the coldest area at the hottest place... this is a reminder to all human beings that they should respect both Firet and Icet" ctf_Firce is my newest map and its quite special because i made some huge layout changes when i was doing the map... first i wanted to make an ice themed map but when i was done with it it look'ed too much like Blade and Ice beam... then i wanted to make a fire themed map but when i was done with it it looked too much like Hot beam... So i decieded to smash it together and out of that came Firce:) you can flag throw and shoot through the 4 beams that is placed around in the map 2 fires 2 ice The polygon soils that covers the end of the player spawns is only bullet collides so the flagger have a chance to get aways and not just get shot just when players spawn and so spawnkilling is harder to do.... besides that all of the map exists of ice polygons so now please comment and critic:)

Drag, I see you improving on visuals, the layout seems to be good, but I think those holes in the mid are useless except you put there some kits and maybe bonuses, anyway it is a good map :)

I think the cloud pattern all along the map is useless and laggy.

Yeah, you have some useless clouds there. (Not as if its somehow my problem)
There's alot crybabies here who likes it 60fps instead of 50fps even though human eye can see only about 30 frames per second. And how the hell can it be laggy? I never have any problems with my unmastered dell-laptop.

Futhermore, I like the texture and cold layout. It feels somehow 'heavy'.
And it's actually first nice map of yours.

And btw, this is Criticism:

Low route seems to be a bit lonely.
And it looks just like you can steal the flag and then theres a straight fly to home ahead.
(And I have a guestion here, is red and blue pilars playercollide?)
If not, flags should be somewhere behind those blue pilars, then the lower route would perhaps be more useful-looking. If they are collide, it will propably be really curvy chase/escape- drama in the bases.

Layout is sweet, design is awful and theres too many cols. 3/5

Wrong. The human eye can see 60 frames per second. Any more fps above 60 means you're just showing off your hardware.

Wrong. The human eye can see 60 frames per second. Any more fps above 60 means you're just showing off your hardware.
Allright I just had to make some investigation and the count is actually 25 frames per second.
Ofcourse 60 fps looks smoother, but you can observe only 25 of them. And lets not talk about slow motion- ninjas, 25 is an average value.

the red and blue pillars is player collide :) they are for flag throwing or NadeToTeammatesMouth

this also makes it impossible to fly directly home... you either have to go to the right and take the low way or to the left to take mid or high:)

the clouds is for the look and its pretty damn hard to see if your maps is laggy if you got a good computer:) i guess ill just have to test them online aye?=??

Looks:
+Texture
+Theme
-Scenery (only cols there)

Overall I liked the looks. Got same problem with looks, it's damn hard to know which lags and which don't when you can't test it.

Layout:
+Flag throw option works good, it's hard/easy enough to throw+shoot flag to other base.
+Icy Bottom route gives you fast route to attack
-Attacking in middle route is very awkward, there's S climb movements when you try get your body from middle to flag (hopely you understand), try prevent that in future.
-Flag and player spawns are too near each other, that means need for spawnkill. (in this map you can't fix it, it's common problem when flag place is set at top)

I suggest that you delete the blue OPC polys (only player collide), that would bring new route to attack on middle route.

After testing at #soldat.mapping I must say I like it although it has some issues but its definantly not like the most maps we test as it has some fresh ideas although some of the movements are a bit awkward as well as there are a few polybugs around(so check the overlappings) also I am not so sure if the whole map needs to be icy.

Thanks alot for the suggestions:) ive listened to them and used them in my newest map wich will come up soon....
