You won't get to where I am with just reading it, but I guess everything starts from knowing your goat.

Picture below is an example of strict colour restriction and manual anti-aliasing which I use recently quite a lot. It usually helps to download a pixel art piece you like and zoom closely on the pixels, this way you can study and why not also steal the techniques the artist used. However I recommend you don't go trying to copy a rectain type of style too much, because the chances are that you fail and will just hurt your own feelings and lose all your motivation. This applies to all creative content.

Can't see much jaggies or colours others than white whilst zoomed out can't you? Thats pixel art above your typical habbo hotel for you. Some sharpness is however always good in pixel art so I guess they would shine in their full effect at 2x size.

The 2nd one is really useful. I didnt even know that it had options when combining with shift/ctrl.

One more thing- how to add some existing colors back into the palette?
It annoys me as it always takes me some time to open up the same pic in gimp, get the color and copy its setting back in paint after ending one session.

I don't know how the palette thing works, because it certainly doesn't work the normal way. I use one of the oldest paints (similiar to XP's) mainly because I think Win7's is shit and because it's shit, I haven't used or studied it either.

So what I do is that I just draw my own palette in the actual project somewhere to the side and just use 'pick colour' tool on them, it's almost the same although you need to switch to the picking tool every time.

Managed to dip my car into a puddle of mud in midst of quite a heavy rain yesterday. So got out to push it, excluding boxers I stripped everything, because I'm not going back home with mudshit clothes. Nobody else drives the road so it's fine to nude around. The idea of this scene was inevitable.

I only had a mechanical pencil, and a shading tool, so adding darker shading was next to impossible.

Not very lively thread? Art is kinda meh this time, but I was focusing on the lulsy concept more.
