Setting up Duke 3d guide (with pix! 8O )First, you will want to download it here -> http://skur.net/files/Duke3d.zipOpen up the file and extract to C:\(http://skur.net/upload/files/wt1.jpg)(http://skur.net/upload/files/wt2.jpg)Go into Duke3d folder and fire up eduke32(http://skur.net/upload/files/wt3.jpg)Click yes twice, and set your custom game content directory to "usermaps"(http://skur.net/upload/files/wt4.jpg)Start the game up and set up video, sound, control and your player to your liking and then close out.Next, fire up the duke3d_w32 file and set the game to your liking. ( We are setting up both because we run different versions to try to get everyone to be able to play.)(http://skur.net/upload/files/wt5.jpg)If you are on vista set up both eduke32 and duke3d_w32 to both run as administrator.Do this by right clicking on the exe's and selecting Properties, click on Compatability tab, then check "Run this program as administrator" and hit apply.(http://skur.net/upload/files/wt6.jpg)Next, fire up yang and go to Settings --> Source Ports and configure it to look like this, and then it Ok.(http://skur.net/upload/files/wt7.jpg)You are now ready to play duke3d online!
