I like MGS4, but it's only fun if you've played the entire series.
Also, Little Big Planet actually is one of the funnest games I've ever played. I'll put up a post in awhile after people gimme some more of your favorite games.

(BTW, comments like "ps3 sux, xbox rules", will be ignored, so save yourself some time.)

I never got to play PS3 much, but I did hear that Resistant 2 was pretty damn amazing.

I got both Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 and Killzone 2 is pretty much the best new gen game I came across. And yes I've played all the 360 exclusives and neither any other PS3 game or 360 exclusive don't even compare at all to Killzone

The best game for PS3 is the one that you bought the PS3 specifically to play because it was an exclusive release.

If you're not sure which, then take a look at your PS3 game collection and you should find one of the following:

MGS4.
Little Big Planet.
Final Fantasy MCMXCXIII.
That desert racing game.

I'm definitely rooting for MGS4 here, because of its graphics and the fact that if it were made for the XBOX 360, they would need close to five discs for all the movies and what not. Very impressive, even if you're not a fan of the series. (Btw, the part in Act 4 where Otacon tells you to switch discs, and then marvels at the PS3, that felt good because it was just a slap in the face to all other consoles

)

So far I think the list:
1. Killzone 2(looks stunning, unfortunately have yet to play it, but from your feedback I think I might go out and get it ASAP.)
2. MGS4
3. Resistance 2(never played, mostly because of the let down of Resistance 1)
4. Little Big Planet(VERY VERY Fun, although not very Influential as far as next gen games go.)
5. "That desert racing game" (I forget name, Motorstorm, maybe

Seeing as I haven't played any of those and since killzone is just a futuristic WW2 game and Resistance is a sci fi WW2 game and little big planet is a casual game ironically designed for the most expensive console.

I guess technically best is the right word, but none of them seem all that great.

killzone 1 was pretty good.
I expect killzone 2 to be ever better.(havent tried it yet)

O please, this is just another excuse for you to bring up your disdain for the consoles. It's pretty obvious you've just dismissed these games just because "O NOZ, THEYRE ON TEH CONSOLEZ< CONSOLES ARE TEH SUX".

As for the topic, I haven't really felt the need to get any shooters for quite a while so I haven't played any of the games listed in the poll. Therefore, I will give the correct answer of Valkyria Chronicles. A tragically undersold game that deserves a lot more love. Please get it.

Out of PS3 games, I like Killzone 2. I only play FPS's, I just am not entertained by any other genre, except maybe thrid person (Ghost Recon, Gears 1 etc.)

Little Big Planet is mroe like a PlaystatioN network/Xbox live Arcade game than a real game. $90 is jsut too much to pay for it. (Australian Dollars).
