I never played starcraft.

I like RTSes but i feel like if I play to win I don't get to watch anything actually happen.

I was obsessed with it when i was about 10. Used to LAN it with my cousin. Then i stopped, for what reason i dont know. I recently found the cd and played a couple of times but it didnt went well as it used to. A little bit of practice and i should be back on track. Allthought im more excited to try out Starcraft 2.

I pitied my own nation, because they earn living while playing Star Craft tournament.

I think I've played Starcraft once.

I'm slightly aware of the mythos though.

What are you talking about!? Earning money doing something you love is the smartest way to go >_>

It's only sad when people put pro effort on something that won't give any returns.

Aaand this has been going for around six years. For that game...

Besides, when I played with other Koreans that time, all they know what to do is just swearing.... Complete stupidity.

Another thing that pisses me off that in Korean game channel, 80~90% of the show is about Starcraft, everyting else is just a puny FPS fighting.

The only fat Korean pro SC player I saw was JulyZerg, and he wasn't that bad. >_>

That reminds me. There was a StarCraft competition at BlizzCon this year and all three winners (bronze, silver, gold) were Korean. I laughed. Hard.

Anyway, SC is a wonderful game. I played it a lot during my younger years, and I'm extremely emo about the fact that my computer probably won't be able to handle SCII well.

Playing games for a living is okay, as long as they learn about the beauty of their country first.

Seriously, so many Koreans are blinded by games they don't even realize how much there is to the country.

I think this applies to every country.

(somewhat off topic)Speaking as a Westerner, it frustrates me that "Japanese culture" refers strictly to developments of the last 50 years, like anime. Where the hell did the real Japanese culture go?
Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you?
Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back?
I'd gladly do it because
I don't want to fade away.
