Forums maintenance now and tomorrow

Hi there,

I'm going to be applying some updates to the forums in a few minutes, and then we're going to be doing a pretty large migration tomorrow night. 

The forums should only be offline for a minute or two now, and tomorrow they'll be offline for 5-30 minutes.

During that time, even if the forums are online, registration will not be allowed.  Anyone who tries to register during that time will need to wait just a little bit longer.  It won't be more than an hour unless something major goes wrong.

Any of those changes is suppressing the Active Topics section? Cause I don't see it anymore and it's usefull

That and the portal/home page thing seems to be gone.
Can't send PM's either.

Liking the new profile modifying stuff though.

All of those problems are being addressed now

Please post about any others you know of.  So far we know of:
- Missing AT page
- Missing rules page
- Missing portal
- Login button is displayed at wrong times
- Can't send PMs

I actually do not like the new look for changing your profile settings. I am so used to the old way. Seeing as I have used it since 2004 on many forums.


Oh, another problem is the log in feature. It needs a "Remember me" checkbox, I am tired of having to log in every time I leave the forums...

In the top right corner on the Profile page, there is a icon. Click that and it will revert to the old style (Thank god)

You can tick the box which says log in forever or whatever it is, I haven't had to log in for months

Very shortly I will be locking registrations.  Once we're doing the code update, I'll be putting the forum into maintenance mode for 5-15 minutes.  After that everything will be unlocked while we do some more testing and finish up our work.
