TNG was the real vision of Roddenberry, the original was barely not racist/sexist enough to stay on TV. Once Big G died DS9 fucked up everything with shitty actors and a boring story (life on a space station which somehow doesn't collide with amazing space women)

I like Stargate SG-1. Own all 10 seasons, but sucks they aren't making any more. $:-\$

Call me a noob for liking those shows, but there not that bad. My advice try and watch a few good ones.

Ark of the truth movie wasn't bad, but I didn't exactly like the Stargate Continuum one. Also someone told me they are making another Stargate movie. Not sure, but is this true or false?

Comedy Central Presents is the most consistently hilarious show I have ever seen. I can't really think of the best show, but Stargate or whatever you said I have never seen.

I like comedy, so South Park, Two and a Half Men, and King of Queens.
House is the smart comedy.

I don't get Showtime so I have to buy the DVDs and the third one isn't out yet so I often forget about Dexter. Great show though, but they killed my favorite character at the end of the second season which made me mad and I haven't seen any of the third one yet. This thread is not about the effect of TV, music, video games, or anything else on young people.
