How to add an avatar here?

Ok i know this might sound retarded AS HELL but i did look around the forums, and sorry but the search engine here isn't the best ever ;/
no whining or anything, and no intentions of sounding like an idiot but how and what regulations are there for putting an avatar? *your humiliating texts below*

Go to profile.
Hover the mouse of Modify Profile.
Click on Forum Profile.
And paste the URL for the image you want into the "I have my own Picture."

isn't there  limit on how big [in bytes] the picture can be?

flcikr or any sites like that then copy the image url. Or you can try to find the image on google images first [if possible]

ekhm my last question still not answered, oh and i got a new problem:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 796440 bytes) in /home/soldatforums/public_html/Sources/Profile-Modify.php on line 2575


wtf??? i got a site that helped me and all but when i give it the upload comand this is what i get....help?

This was a bug that was just fixed a few seconds ago. Please try again, it will work now.

Ok, guys. I've fixed the strange avatar permissions glitch. Normal members can now access the stock avatars that come with SMF and upload their own.
