!Elite Pirates vs Ninjas

!Elite Pirates vs Ninjas is a new official !Elite server brainstormed and programmed by me.

It's a CTF-based script that focuses on the concept of pirates (Alpha team) fighting ninjas (Bravo team).

Pirates

The pirates' weapons are all weapons that could be considered pirate-like or that may have had similar renditions in pirate days.

Primary Weapons

Desert Eagles
Spas-12
Ruger 77
Barret M82A1

Secondary Weapons

Combat Knife
Chainsaw

Ninjas

The ninjas' only weapon is the Combat Knife. If a ninja picks up a pirate weapon it turns into a Combat Knife. Ninjas make up for this disadvantage with constant automatic Predator packs (always invisible.)

The server has been welcomed with open minds by many people and everybody loves it. The two teams seem pretty balanced because both sides are getting their fair share of wins.

Haha, I just played it for a few minutes, and it was actually quite fun I have to say. At first, I kept dieng and I was getting frustarted, but then I used Barret camped, and looked for them to snipe.

Apparently some people find it fun to spend their whole life making flood exploits for Soldat.

Come on guys, get a life and do something else other than try to make others' lives miserable.

It will be back up as soon as the person stops the flood.

EDIT: I've never seen a flood of this complexity, it didn't leave any logs, I was able to get the proper bans by taking a screenshot.

Yeah I took a look. It was pretty cool, but I was kinda the only person there...

More people need to be told about this server! What country is this server based in by the way?

I love the idea and the server is very fun but please please make the script check the health of the player before u regive the pred bonus and right after have it dodamage the difference of the old hp and 150. Other than that its great, its pretty easy to see the blue guys if u stay concentrated

mid-USA

Yesterday at about that time somebody was flooding my server again, there was probably nobody there because I had to restart the server and try to get all the proper bans before the flood would stop. It usually has 5-16 people in it on average depending on the time of day.

Well this was the funnest fun I've had in years. Never before have I appreciated Soldat's infinite ammo and my dark gray jets... I find the script/game to be very balanced as I had equal amounts of pleasure being a pirate and a ninja. Nothing's as fun as being a grenade juggler in the dark

And btw, please post the script

I'd love to see a bunch of servers with this script spring up.

Like it, have played there are a bit and at the beginning I was alone, but anyway some others joined and I think it is very awesome

Played it some half an hour with 2 guys yesterday and totally loved it on both teams, this is genius, and the balance rocks.

Dude I entered the server but when I got in it said "kicked from console" and I tryed to re-enter it said "You are banned from this server"

This server has one annoying problem. A MAJOR problem. Some Major keeps spamming all this random annoying crap. OH well, I'm on it right now. Time is : 10.10 Australian Eastern Standard Time.

I just started playing Soldat again for the first time in a few months and I found this server while looking for the Elite Snipe and Slice server. It's a great idea and one of my new favorites.

I've been playing on it quite a bit the past few days and it's amazingly fun, especially when I'm a ninja. Oh the laughter goes on and on camping the blue flag with my knife.

Well after a couple of days more of playing there I am starting to believe the preds have it somewhat easier, CTF is too fast to pay attention to transparent figures on the screen which makes the preds' job kinda easier... :/

Maybe, but in a 4v4 (or higher) and if the players co-ordinate properly, Alpha can easily win by spraying infinitely with Spas-12s and having one guy continously scout with a Barret. Of course, almost everyone that plays on Pubs can't be screwed.

I'm hosting this server again on my computer, I updated the server info.

I lost the script (long story) so I had to completely recode it.

Assuming everything is stable I'll probably release the script for Christmas.

This is my favorite server, but please get a real host, 90% of the time my shots are eaten, and the nade limit is overboard.

Last time a server was rented to host this game-mode, it unfortunately died in about three months. Of course anyone who likes this game and has some money left can contact me or Gnintendo to host a server with help of the !Elite community

Hey while outta pure boredom I decide to make this script for myself, I'm new at script but this one was easy. Its similar to yours but was wondering If I could run it ...I won't make it an !Elite server ill just make it a regular !ELM server...just while people are waiting for your elite server to start up again?

Mine will be a bit differant tho.
(Pirates Get: MP5, Spas, M79, or Barretta with Socom or Law)
(Ninjas Get: knife or saw and 3 Nades on Respawn)
**No Nades on Map**

Revised:
(Pirates Get Either: Eagles, Spas, M79 or Barrett *No Seconday* 3 Nades)
(Ninjas Get: Saw Only 3 nades)
(Nades are random either Cluster or Regular)
(Punch Damage Increased to kill on one hit)
(Upon killing an enemy your 3 nades are reimbursed)

Of course on the greeting message I am going to put Special thanks to Gnintendo for Game idea or something like that.

Is that cool? I hope to get a respond soon

Feel free to try to rescript it if you want but I'm probably going to just release the script once I have time to get in contact with Hacktank (I already know him) and setup a server with him and make sure everything works OK on a server running Linux.

Edit: ie i used to host a server with that mode for quite a while and nobody was playing. Forgot to mention that.. If you have a decent server that can host this, you're free to join quakenet and have a chat if you find someone on #soldat.pred
