Best things ever invented IMO:
PC, sniper rifles :D , laser tools, cars, music, art, etc...(More un-original thoughts are to be placed here)

Worst things however:
War, bio-weapons, bombs, nuclear\atomic power...(More here)
You like sniper rifles, but hate war?

he probably likes hunting

and yeh, the most of the inventions made in the 20th century were made first for military usage, if demoniac meant on the a-bomb with nuclear power, if he meant for the stuff that the military made
if the military never made it for their usage, it would never exist
Last year, I dreamt I was pissing at a restroom, but I missed the urinal and my penis exploded.

Heh, I have a similar ideology.

I like violence and all that, but only in video games where everything is just fictional. Wars are a good example - they influence gaming in a positive manner, but I really dread an actual war.

I would like a new war. Gets us out of recession, lowers population, bad guys lose (hopefully some overpopulating country) and new games and movies will come out based on it. The only negatives are lots of death. Other than that it's all positive!

I actually hate you now.

I'd say sliced bread.

Internet is pretty cool.

Houses are always good.

The name Agnes.

Netcode is awesome.

Also, just for kicks: heaters, spa's, pools, YouTube, COD4, the wheel helped, Aztec temples, names/nouns and peace, whoever thought that up wasn't thinking long-term though.

Haha, I can't help but notice alot of these aren't actually inventions but have been around forever.

I'd problably have to say Chess, one of the oldest board games, and the best.
I also like the Inernet, but that's not one of the greatest inventions.
Watches.  I always like to know what time it is.
Basics.  Spoons, forks, knives, etc.  Everything we need for our daily lives.

I have to say the simple machines are very important also. Steel is another one. (Alloys in general are great)

*Edit*
Two others I forget, rifling and the internal combustion engine.

Haha! I actually own that game too, and have played it quite a few times.  It's not bad, but not even close to being as good as chess. :D

Also, another think that I like as a great invention are glasses!

Heh sir Jeremy i agree with you to 100% chess rocks ;d
Although it's not a 20th\21st century invention, it is considered a new era game "inspired" by the Japanese Shogi, another version of chess, and i think the 1st one, may have also been Xiangqi...Don't know really.
But i also wanted to add microwaves, and hair gel xD (j/k)
