sometimes i have dreams about waking up, eating my breakfast and going to workbefore i wake up, eat my breakfast and go to worki hate those dreams
Yeah, Panzer. Whenever I was working on an extremely difficult project in my old laboratory, I'd have dreams where I'm running experiments all night long to meet some deadline. Then I'd wake up thinking it was the next day only to find out that I now had to actually do the experiments I was dreaming about. Rinse, repeat...the repetition that triggered those dreams is probably the main reason why I left for other things.Aww, see STM, that's why your mother used to say "sweet dreams" before tucking you in. Because sweet dreams really are something. Having a dream about infectious diseases, though, not so much.Blue-ninja, you're strange anyway. Stop stalking my forumses in the middle of the night.
On the rare occasion I have been aware I was dreaming. It gives you this wierd feeling of being able to control what happens, instead of just playing out your part in the dream according to some script or whatever.

There is a whole forum on how to increase your lucid dream experience. I live the dream of insanity everyday, what's so bad about it?I've had dreams I've gone insane, they were horrible horrible dreams.
Sleep Paralysis
Will it be the greatest thing ever or the f**king greatest thing ever to know how it feels like to have a lucid dream under the effects of LSD or any hallucinogenic drug? I mean, you're in control of your dream sort of, but random ideas pop out all the time even if you don't intend to have them in your dream. Oh boy.
...causing me to believe there are ways to alter your brain from within your brain through practice.
"Lucid dreams". I'll never try those again.I once did, must've done something wrong, and ended up with a Sleep Paralysis (read more about it, it's scary) that lasted about an hour.
Zero72, that's because you're already directing your dreams. The things that happen as you expect them happen because you expect them.
I once met an ex-dealer who used to sell an experimental hallucinogenic drug that allowed you to control your own trip.
I also got punched, and when I woke up, there was a red mark on my chest were I got hit in my dream.
