There's nothing I hate more than dreaming. All of the ones I have are so grim. They usually consist of people in my family dying, having to go to their funerals, sell their stuff, getting banned from forums, kicked out of school, s**tting my pants at school, getting beaten up, dying, being caught by the government for pirating dvd's then dragged to an underground base where obama was waiting for me with a carpet beater (just like in fecking casino royale, it was soo real). Maybe this is why I deliberately sleep less and less each night. From what I've heard, people who don't sleep enough die younger, but whatever.
The strangest thing...have you ever had that nagging suspicion that you're dreaming when you're otherwise convinced that you're fully awake?I was having trouble sleeping last night so kept walking downstairs for a glass of water every time I awoke. And each time I would find my roommates hanging out in our living room, so I'd join them for a bit before heading back to sleep, only to wake and repeat the entire process again some time later. We were doing the weirdest things, though. I would come downstairs and my roommates were sipping fine liquor, which we have none of and that's something we never do anyway, especially late at night. And Tina had work in the morning, she never stays up late before work. Two of my other roommates never stay awake past 1:00 unless we're having a party, and Uri, who was asleep, never goes to sleep if the rest of us are awake.Thinking about this in my bed, I suddenly fully awoke, convinced that I had been dreaming all along. But when I went downstairs, one of my roommates yelled "Yay, he's back!" and they all lift their glasses to my return. Imagine my surprise, because I'm still half convinced that they're all figments of my imagination. And I tell them as much, which turns out to be a mistake because they all start poking fun at me for thinking that they were a dream, which I know is going to be an in-house joke for a long time to come. They finally set me right and bring me back to reality, then pull out my guitar and suggest that I play them a tune. I shouldn't, I say, because I haven't played in months since I removed all of my old strings and I don't have any new ones. But there my guitar was: all strung up and clean, somehow tuned to perfection and inexplicably downstairs despite the fact that I had just woken up next to it.I was still dreaming. The sudden shock woke me up and I sat bolt upright in bed. I was so confused. How could I have been in a dream all along and why hadn't I noticed that something was wrong earlier? And then I look around the room and realize something: I'm in my old room in my parents' house, but I haven't lived there for years.Again, the sudden shock wakes me up and I sit bolt upright in bed. I look around. It's the correct room. Finally. I seem to have fallen asleep with all of my clothes on, including my glasses, but this time I really am awake. I'm certain of it. But hell if I'm going to go downstairs to see if my roommates are down there. So I take my glasses off and place them where I always do. I pull the covers over myself and I drift back to sleep.I finally awake in the morning confused as hell about what happened last night, but I'm glad I at least figured it all out and managed to get some real sleep. Then I reach for my glasses in that place where I always place them, but they aren't there.

Did you do anything unusual before you went to bed that night?
I love it when you get that feeling that you're falling right as you're laying down about to fall asleep.or is it just me?

It's great.
