Wait, is this a 10 rep thing or maxing out with the weights?

I haven't lifted in so long, and you're supposed to be able to bench your own weight, but I dunno if I can even do that anymore. I'm gonna try to get back into this and cardio, need to cut about 15 lbs off anyways.

I do 5x5 my friends do 8x3, for 1 rep max I can probably do around 90kg for bench

Haven't done actual squats in a while, but I do 3x10 leg presses of 400 pounds, and my bench reps go 6-4-2-1-2-4-6 of 170, 180, 190, 200, 190, 180, 170.  I weigh about 220, and I try to increase my bench rep weight by about 10 pounds every two weeks.  (All weights are in pounds).

I went to the gym today. I'm surprised, I did 420 pounds of 12 repetition today.

It's all in the soccer and kumdo :) Also, the more I used the dumbells, the more easier and lighter it got for me to wield my blade. I'

Hehe...he did 35 lbs 12 times. He apparently has a running total going. :)

My mother can beat that shit. I thought he was missing a zero in there, but then I would still be laughing.

For those that actually care if you want to convert Kg to pounds multiply by 2.2 so 20.4 Kg is roughly 45 pounds.

Oh no no silly, leg press :p

I would be dead, or wait, I won't even be able to lift it up probably. But I am considering to try out the bench press...

no offense man but it does sound pretty outrageous, also I don't get how soccer helps with those sort of movements unless your kicking with your arms

Maybe the rapid movement of his arms while he's running after the ball has trained them to the point that they can bench 400lb.
Anyone play KOL?

My one rep bench is 200 lbs (91k).

I haven't done a one rep Dead or Squat yet but:

Deadlift: 300 lbs (1-4 reps) (136k) - My 1 rep max is probably around 315 lbs or so (143k)

Squat (6-10 reps) 255 lbs (115k), my one rep squat is probably 300 lbs or close to it.

Dips: I do sets of 12, if I'm strength building I'll tie a 35 pound (15k) plate to myself.

Pull-ups (wide grip): I do a set of 8-12 depending on how I feel, I can't do weighted yet.

Leg press: Most I've done was 2 reps of 630 pounds (285k)

I'm 5'10" (178 cm) and 170 pounds (77k), been working out for about a year consistently, technically I've been working out for two years but I didn't do much in my first (very lazy). Squat is probably my strongest proportionally (provided with the bench and dead ratios).

I'm looking to add a lot of weight to these, I'd like to bench over 300, squat around 400, and dead around 400 during the 2009-2010 winter (it's going to be very hard.)

ps. Demoniac I don't doubt you, I'm just confused that you can do more pulls than chins, as chins are generally easier because of the arm involvement.

Fucking hulk!!!

Also @m00, well, soccer trains your leg muscles by land slide. However, if you're a goalie, you'll get to have more workout. Since you mostly have to dive to block the shots.

One more thing at Rai: You have to be taking steroids, or damn, I envy your natural strength. I should work out more often.

Ugh, i have kickboxing training couple of times a week so that's a bonus i forgot to add.
As to soccer, if you're the one who handles all corner shots, (only go to goalie position on corners, cause I'm the highest in the team, and, well good with corners.) and all outs, then throwing that ball in as far as possible with one arm should pretty much be good exercise if you've been playing soccer for about 12 years.
