I was at a party the other night and we made this fighting tournament it kinda reminded me of 'fight club' but you could only punch from the neck down and waist up, no kicking. it was the most fun I had in years, i took down a guy twice my size!!! he was literally on the floor!! and I also found out that I could take in a lot of punches without going down but now i've got bruises all over my chest and fingers.

so so fun!!!!!

so anyone else done this before for fun?

oh yeah please no karate/ tae kwon do/ kung fu bulls**t

I was training to be an amateur mma fighter but then I joined the Army. I have to wait until I get to my unit to further my training. I know I can take a few punches to the old noggin now though,

So how f**ked were you and the other guy?

All I know is basic grappling, punching and kicking. At 120 lbs conventional fighting isn't really good for me.

My friends and I didn't drink but most of the other guys did. I don't think you need alcohol to make a party fun and usually the alcoholics make stupid lame jokes and just sit around drinking and pretending to be drunk which is really boring

Fighting was a part of high school, there was at least 2 each day.
I got into a few, only one that I actually got "hurt" was when I busted my head open on the bleachers from some fatass, 2 years older than me, who wouldn't fight back.

Anyways, we did something like that when I went to a friend's party.

He invited a bunch of guys from school over, all pretty big, and also their little brothers.
We set up a little ring thing in his living room at like midnight, taught the little kids how to fight, and had them fight each other after. Very entertaining. After that we just watched Freddy Vs. Jason and scared the little kids by throwing them outside and kicking the door.

Is the thing you miss most about joining the army that you had to give up fighting?

I can take punches, I'm agile as hell and basically I'm a pretty good boxer. Never got in a serious fight that lasted more than a minute because I never fought with guys that fought back.

Altho I got fucked up once when I was completley drunk, and went straight inside a mass street fight in which people didn't seem to know who are they punching really. So suddenly I get puched in the back of my head and before I realise who it was and why was I punched, I got jumped by 5 or 6 other guys that kept attacking me for a few minutes untill the police came.

I got some advanced Krav Maga training skills from the army but I'm not going to get into a street fight looking like Steven Seagal or anything.

i used to do quite a lot of thai boxing, i'm still pretty agile but my technique is pretty shit now and i can't kick properly either. im going to start that again after school finishes in june though :/

You got hurt while fighting someone who wouldn't fight back? That sounds kind of embarrassing...

I've never been a big fan of striking, but I wrestled for three years in high school and I'm in a judo club right now. Judo is a lot of fun, because it's strength and technique against strength and technique, and no one gets hurt. Also, you can do submissions and the like, which are considered "potentially dangerous" (and consequently illegal) in wrestling.

ive never been in a fight because i feel like decking someone. the only times i have been are when i am out in town and its normally always pakistani idiots that start on either me or my friends. uhhhhh a long while ago someone stabbed me with a knife because i was stupid enough to fight back unarmed. the damage wasnt that bad but it did knock some sense into me

i started training muay thai not too long ago but not currently at the moment. im hoping to get back into it soon

It doesn't take much to slam someone's head into bleachers, and I'd like to see it happen to you and you got get injured from it.

Our bleachers are wood, with metal on the bottoms of each row and they have screws sticking out of them.

You think making you a moderator gives you the right to continuously break rules over crap that goes on with IRC.
