Youtube help
« on: April 19, 2009, 11:02:35 pm »
Hey, my dad has asked me if it's possible to download a youtube video and copy it to your computer so you could copy it unto a disc and watch it on a DVD player.

Help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I can help with step one, but not with step two unfortunately.

The easy way to save a youtube video is to go to http://www.keepvid.com and paste the URL of the video into the designated area. You can choose from flv (low quality) or mp4 (high quality) -- go with mp4.

I know nothing of DVD burning but it should be fairly straightforward.

Yeah, getting the vid off of youtube is easy. Just use http://vixy.net or http://www.redtubedownload.info/ . As for burning it to a DVD, I know DVD::RIP can do it, thing is that's a Linux only program so I have no idea on what you would use on Windows.
There are other worlds than these
