Patch Notes-

-New .png interface weapons

-Modified Team1 Gostek

-Modified Weapons_realistic.ini, increased weapon accuracy, makes easier shots when moving.

thats when your clan match feature in the soldat config is off. turn it on so all team members will have the same colour set.

I like it. The weapons would be better if they were smaller, and were outlined more. It's quite fun though, good job.

yes please :D do it for me, do it for GRAW! i was actually thinking of doing a map. the problem is the map layout itself.. should it be TW NO jets style? or ... Multi leveled- flying maps?

you may think im stingy or lazy or something, but after outlining a weapon, it looks more of a lump than a weapon itself, and frankly i just DON'T like looking at outlined weapons.

Imo, too long grip and barrel ending should be flat.

hmm, ok :D could you also try making a GRAW map? like for example... Strong Point.. Coup 'D teat... NORAD on the line... Guardrail IX doing this would make a great addition to the mod :)

ive never really used png before, except for the bullets. Does it handle the same way as bmp? I do know that the background is black instead of lime green.

If you're using Microsoft paint to edit .PNG's, it won't work. You need a program with layers. Try the program paint.NET, it's free. Just google it. You can delete the background instead of it being green or black.

As for the maps, Monument Hill is a GRAW map...

you can look at my Glock 19 in black death's arsenal.

sorry lol but both the 18 and 19 are 2 different weapons. the 19 is just a shrinked downed version of the 18 for compactibility. Also, the 18 has a longer barrel and slightly longer grip.

Most Glocks look somewhat the same....and when you're working with only lets say....25 pixles all glocks will look like the same gun with small changes.

Photoshop is easily the best image editing software put there, but it's like $600. Paint.NET is free and it will suit all your soldat needs and it's only about 8MB download from the website. I suggest you use 8MB of your cap and not spend money. If you want to spend $600(AUS) or worse download a crack, then that's your choice.

don't wrry lol, as of now, im learning the ins and outs of photoshop editing and such. ive used Paint.NET before, but i did'nt really like it. dunno why XD

Rofl. Ive got nothing to say. Anyway, ive did a bit of an edit to the glock. now it has a flater edge and a shorter grip. turns out ive been doing on the wrong variant of the glock 18. the normal glock 18 has an elongated barrel and a longer grip, so much so you call it 'crap'.

In PS to delete the lime green and add transparent just click "select" and there would be "range of color" and then select green with rande 1 and it would delete the background green.

Just one thing...its the shotgun not that there's anything really wrong with it
but it is a bit on the large size when you look at it next to all the other weapons.

agreed, ive always had a problem about that gun being too big. ill resize and release it on the next update with a few extra goodies.

Things to look out for on the next update-

Oh yes  and one more thing (I hate to be a nag but) on the P8G-1 make the mag just a bit bigger it will make it look much nicer. ;)

oh nuts your right. i was totally ignorant of the magazine capacity. instead of a 10 box round mag, it should either be a 5 or 20 round. what would i be? 5 or 20? BTW its not P8G, its PSG . the font's kinda small so it can be easily mistaken.

You're M8 looks a bit fat. Stretch it out horizontally a bit, it looks like a compact M8 instead of a normal M8 carbine.

I do see were Gnoblar is coming from but I don't think its a big deal,still you might want to see if you can fix what hes talking about you never know you might like the way it looks even better. ;)

No modder is special, only their mods are (hopefully) unique experience. Not style or modder is rated, just idea, imagination and effort in project (also gameplay).

No modder is special, only their mods are (hopefully) unique experience. Not style or modder is rated, just idea, imagination and effort in project (also gameplay).

Yes I almost had that problem I had just finished the interface and weapon gfx and was going to start working on the default and ini. just as soldat 1.5 came out and I was like ...lol that could have been alot of work for nothing.

But luckily I didnt have that problem  :)

people still DO play 1.4.2 since it does'nt have as many bugs as 1.5.0. plus, the best mods are from old versions. id stick to the old ones if i were you.

i really did'nt care if the mod was or was'nt compatible with 1.5.0 since ive always been doing mods on 1.4.2, and yes they should be compatible anyway, since 1.5 still uses the same mod config as the previous version.


Heck, i keep multiple versions of soldat. 1.5.0 fr online play, 1.4.2 modding, 1.3.1 for..uh, playing my old mods :D

Dairy it good helpin ur skill wit tis mod. i use it i kill 20./ it also have disadvance too. u cant tell wo shoot the sniper or incomin enemy.

as mentioned on the first post, this mod is INTENDED for realism. Its not like you could see a NORMAL bullet in a real life firefight(compensated this for loud bullet flyby sounds). plus, it also aims to increase your situational awareness and also forces you to find cover in a battle. And again, as said from the first post, it's called TACTICAL gameplay.

Not going to happen, you could add your own bullets if you'd please, but it would just spoil the fun.

tactical doesn't means that you cannot see where you are being attacked

as mentioned earlier, the loud bullet flybys compensate for that, meaning you have to listen to the sounds. In tactical games, you need to find your source of that problem and solve it using alternative means(LISTEN to the sound instead of tracking tracers from the shooter.). And that is exactly what my style of modding closely follows.
