Of course.  It's not really the 'best' weapon, as it's got many flaws.

I ticked minigun for sheer awesomeness, maybe should have gone with something else.  In 1.5 I reckon spas is really good... maybe too good.  Still, I only use Deagles and AK :D

I don't believe you can really say that the Spas is the best weapon out there, as it is very useless in a lot of situations. I decided to vote for the AK, considering it has the range, the capacity to be able to spray and still kill when confronted with an enemy, a fast reload speed, and good damage per bullet. The only flaws of the gun are it's recoil and fire rate.

Although, I primarily use the HK nowadays. I used to Minimi, but it just seems to take too long to kill than necessary.

The M79 and Knife - deadly combo. The M79 is one of the most hardest weapons to master. Once you are skilled with it, it's loads of fun.
The knife is perfect to use in between M79 shots, so that when you can't wait for a reload and need to kill fast, decapitation is on the way.
Just don't chase after a knife unless you are perfectly clear of all enemies. I make that mistake quite too often. Though I do love it,
when I'm able to nail someone with my knife, catch it in mid-air and then pwn a second noob.

Considering these factors:

1, Accuracy
2, Damage
3, Reload time
4, Recoil

Then the MP5 would come first, It does moderate damage. is pretty accurate, has a low reloading time & barely recoil

The M82a1 would come second, as it's one shot kill in the chest or head. the damage and accuracy are maxed out but the reloading time is HORRIBLE. you cannot really give this weapon recoil... as you have enough time (4 seconds o.O) to get your gun back on the target

AFTER this we would get the ruger, High damage. High accuracy, Moderate reloading time and moderate recoil

Ak would be the best weapon then d4ng3r, accuracy, damage, reload and recoil (in realistic) or bink (in normal)  are perfect.

Slow rate of fire..
MP5 = 6
AK74 = 10
Kind of a difference ;) between 6 bullets a sec (AK) or 10 bullets a sec (MP5)

No weapon is really the best, but under my personal preferences, I would pick:

HK MP5
Steyr Aug
Barrett M82A1
FN Minimi

With the new balance in 1.5:

MP5 has pretty good damage and has an incredible firing rate. It is completely unaffected by bink (though we'd still consciously shoot in bursts so as to save a bit of ammo), has no movement inaccuracy, its ammo doesn't drain too fast and it has a very fast reload. The only disadvantage is the fact that it has low bullet speed, which means it has a short range. Other than that, the MP5 is an excellent weapon, being not only extremely effective especially at close quarters, but being a very simple and easy weapon to use.

The new Steyr Aug is pretty well-balanced, I like it very much. It has great firing rate, good damage, long range and accurate. However, it is very limited in terms of ammo. Even though it reloads quite fast, given the fast-pace in Soldat, such a low ammo count is dangerous in prolonged battles and must be reloaded constantly and it is difficult to kill more than 1 opponent. All in all, the Steyr Aug is the deadliest weapon in Soldat for 1v1.

Barrett has been the same since around 1.3.1, with the newly added startup time. The only difference now in 1.5 is its increased firing rate, which is a good and necessary upgrade to combat the increasing pace in Soldat. Its ability to kill in a single shot and supreme range is extremely useful. However, it is a slow weapon and is limited by heavy bink. After 10 shots (which is rarely achievable), there is an extremely long delay before being able to use the Barrett again, which undermines the potential of the Barrett. Overall, the Barrett is a great weapon, but it is highly dependent on the terrain and the game mode.

FN Minimi is the machine gun. While it kills slower than the weapons mentioned above, it has high ammo and has pretty good damage to make up for its relatively slow firing rate and under good hands, it can be a pretty accurate and its long reload won't be too much of an issue. It has high bullet speed which means relatively long range. It can provide a very solid defense when used to defend choke points.

As for secondaries, I would go for the Socom and the LAW. Won't elaborate on them.

Barrett sucks. Slows down gameplay too much. And one-hit kill weapons always attract n00bs. I agree with STM on Steyr and MP-5 though.

Then I'm n00b. Thanks a lot. I'm playing with [Berret] against auto users. And I don't think it slows down pace of the Soldat.

Hell you do not realize how great Barrett is if you never used it in ctf_Nuubia.
