It's a free game, so stop comparing it to cod4, etc.
For being a slapped-together 2d shooter written in an ancient language, it's not half bad.

I just play it 'cause I suck at all the other games.

i must say i tried a lot of games (CS, CoD4, WoW, Lineage II etc) but only Soldat was still fun to me after a month. Only Ogame can be this addictive, but thats something different.

Soldat may not be the best online game, but it and Wolfenstein:ET are the only games I've played regularly for over three years.

one of the best free online games.  For me it is the best game, period.
Because: Classic looks and no bullshit, fast and full of energy, easy to learn - lifetime to master.

This is not the best online game its not even 3d for gods sake. I only play this coz im waiting 4 a vidio card 2 play cs:s

I say it's the Best 2nd person Shooting games, I've played much more fun Online Games Like Crossfire Wow,Runescape.

Wel CS beats Soldat :D, but Soldat is cool, because have huge community, :D have very fast gameplay, CS and tactics chess rubish :)
