Don't remove default maps, just add more. This is how I see it.
In the next version I would like to see at least 3 new maps for every game type excluding CTF. For CTF I want to see at least 4 new default ones. Not generic either mix it up and make original maps. >:(

Would be simple, innit?

If a grenade hits a collider, it explodes. Placing random colliders is a bad idea. Also, it would be massly annoying if you'd just fly into one and couldn't shoot out of it.

Otherwise, barriers don't work as well either; take DD2. It has cool anti-spray walls in the center. In theory, it works keen. In reality? No one notices it.

you can just spray around those walls, they have a big opening, that is why nobody cares.

Barriers are a nice idea, though I can't imagine how they'd properly be employed. Still, back on topic... original idea being: Default and generic maps suffer from both overly open spaces and tight corridors, with little suggestion for maneuver, thus strongly suggesting the tactic of spraying ahead and dominating controllable areas.

Aye, tunnels should be more common in soldat maps, like the one in CTF_Run.

Maps would be better if they thought about not only style, or the balance for the teams but also about Online stuff like Spawn Killers and stuff, maybe add some scenery like hanging stuff with colliders that stop people snipering into the base and pwning the enemy before they get out

I haven't heard a single person cry about the maps till this thread. To be honest all the new 'fancy' maps dont hold up in a war, the 1.2 and beforehand maps are just so much better than anything in the sceneray clad maps of today where their either tobig or the spawns dont make anysense to where your flag is. I'll take b2b over equinox anyday.
