I was thinking about doing a new idea. Flag Infiltration Assault (FIA)......(not the car compani...)

Ok the way it is play is : there a team (I hope there is one) and they have the enemy team flag. (lets say red team is the attacker) and they have to go to their flag That's in the enemy base. The bleu base is well armed (turrets). The red team must go in the bleu team's base and to their flag.

I already draw 2 maps. One is very complex, the other is simpler...but boyth looks fun.

OH! and the mod is base on the infiltrate mod. But the flags is are switched and their is an defending team.

Um... thats exactly INF.

Switching the flags doesnt make it any better.

Well that's still the same as ordinary INF except that the flags are put in different locations of the map, but the flaw is this INF map design is that, blue team cannot earn points overtime.

Yea... I din't really thought about the point thing...the blue team cant get points....

And the difference with INF is that the red team doesn't have to go get the blue flag and bring it to his base....and the blue team is well deffended...
But it's a good idea even if it ressembles to INF.

Actually I have had this same idea. I'm supporting it. It would be cool to make maps for it.

I think I fully understand his suggestion now (below explains it, but I may have added a few extras).

Basically, it is a similar game to INF but with more advantages to Bravo. The Black Flag is held by Alpha and to be brought to the White Flag in Bravo's base (switched flags). However, here are the twists/notes:
1) Bravo will always earn points overtime, it cannot be stopped by capturing the black flag.
2) Bravo can still return the black flag. White flag remains untouchable.

Alternatively, there is only one flag defended by Bravo. As long as one Alpha player reaches the flag, they score.

It's good, but quite redundant compared to INF, except for the twist I mentioned in 1) which I think would be an interesting option.

What if... Bravo got points whenever the flag was held by Alpha, or whenever the flag isn't in base? Because then it might be possible to script it.

And STM1993 , thanks for explaining my thoughs.
But now I can't numerise my skeches of 2 map I made on paper, because I have final exams and stuffs for school
(next year am going to CEGEP). But soon anought I will numerise them. A map in mines and a map on a skiing slope with a chair lift.

The second map in my mod requires alpha to carry a flag into the base, as it would be unfair to go in and carry it out. This is too much like INF and I think that by simply switching the flags it can be mainly achieved.

For now wish me good luck on my final exam in french class (in May) ( I live in Québec, so my french class can be conpare to your english class ) . I must do a 500 word argumentatif text on biometric systems. Hope I will pass

Agreed. F11. It's like Team Slayer in Halo with snipers is and improvement from TS with BRs, and different.

Maybe. But I haven't got inspired by Halo, And neter any other games. I just thought " Hey it would be sweet if there where maps where a team must attack the other team and stuff..... But now that I remember, I got a little bit inspired by a Unreal Tournament game play ( it an objective thing )
in the UT 2004 for exemple.

You play too much halo.
And f11 the idea, plz ask an admin to lock it...It's too similar to INF to be implemented..It already exists on certain maps.
