100/20 fiber - But with the less than ideal 802.11g and two wooden walls inbetween me and the router I'm only getting ~21/15

ping has nothing todo with a "fast" connection it depends on which kind of routing you have to the server you are playing on. usually the isp with the best ping are the ones that are big as they can pay for the best routing.
